Description

Biological Safety Cabinet Class-II Type-A2 designed to protect the Laboratory staff, environment and sensitive work processes in which biological agents are used. The safety cabinet offers a superior level of contamination protection based on two advanced HEPA filters. The Biosafety cabinet configuration is freestanding. The Cabinet inner chamber is made of single piece stainless steel 304 grade material. The Work zone is made of 16-gauge stainless steel 304 grade material. The Side walls are made of 20-gauge stainless steel 304 grade material.The Cabinet main body is made of of  18gauge electro-galvanized steel with antimicrobial powder coated finish material. In order to ensure consistent and reliable down flow velocity across the supply HEPA filter over the life of the cabinet, the cabinet use a pressure sensor (rather than anemometer) to detect pressure drop across the supply filter, rather than just one point across the down flow. The pressure sensor encased in order to protect the sensor from temperature, humidity, and other environmental phenomena that can impact the sensor’s performance. In order to preserve the safety of the user and the environment, the exhaust blower on the cabinet must continue operating when the supply blower stops working. If the exhaust blower  fail, the supply filter will also be turned off. The Cabinet motors automatically adjust the airflow speed without the use of a damper to ensure continuous safe working conditions, even without maintenance adjustments.
