Biological Safety Cabinet Class II type B2 is designed to protect the lab staff, the environment and sensitive work processes in which biological agents are used. The safety cabinet offers a high level of contamination protection, based on two advanced HEPA filters operating at an efficiency of 99.995% with a particle count of 0.3µm & an airflow pattern of 0% recirculation, 100% exhaust.
The Cabinet made from galvanized iron 18 SWG sheet metal with polyurethane paint coated finish and bottom supported with MS with PU coated modular stand which can be adjustable for height with leveling legs/motorised. The interior of the cabinet including the work area is made of single piece of stainless-steel with large radius corners to simplify cleaning. Both the sidewalls are made from double layered outer Gl & inner stainless steel with return-air plenum in between.

The Cabinet is equipped with a smart, safe and user-friendly colour touch-screen control system that protects the operator and provides alerts for periodic maintenance actions and parts’ replacement.All components have low energy consumption, LED lighting and a dual DC motors. In order to ensure consistent and reliable down flow velocity across the supply HEPA filter over the life of the cabinet, the cabinet use a pressure sensor (rather than anemometer) to detect pressure drop across the supply filter (rather than in just one point across the down flow). The pressure sensor must be encased in order to protect the sensor from temperature, humidity and other environmental phenomena that can impact the sensor’s performance.The biosafety cabinet is CE certified, and complies with EN 12469.
